A basement that never warms up. A bedroom over the garage that’s cold all winter. An upstairs that’s stuffy by June. If your Brampton home has uneven room temperatures, the ducts are worth checking. They’re mostly closed in behind drywall, so a leak can go on for years without anyone seeing it.
We test how much your ducts leak, fix by hand what Aeroseal can’t, seal the rest from the inside, then test again. You get the Aeroseal Seal Certificate with both numbers on it.
We recently sealed the ducts in a home in Brampton. Before sealing, the duct leakage measured 59.8%. After sealing, it measured 6.2%.
This one had a real challenge. We found a register hidden under the kitchen cabinets, in the toe-kick space below the base cabinets. Before Aeroseal can run, every register in the house has to be blocked off so the sealant stays inside the ducts. One register we can’t get to holds up the whole job.
So we removed the cabinet kickplate to reach it. Then we blocked the register off and started the sealing.
The leakage left at the end was about a tenth of where it started.
These are measured numbers, not estimates. We test before we start and again after sealing, and every Aeroseal job ends with a Seal Certificate showing both. We never share our customers’ addresses.

All of Brampton, including Bramalea, Heart Lake, Springdale, Castlemore, Mount Pleasant, Fletcher’s Meadow, Sandringham-Wellington, Credit Valley and downtown. We’re based in Mississauga, so Brampton is a short drive for us.
Every register has to be reachable on sealing day, and in a lot of homes at least one isn’t where you’d expect. Generally speaking, here’s where we look:
Most homes take about 4 hours for sealing, or about 6 hours with air balancing. See the full process →
Aeroseal seals gaps up to about 5/8 inch. Bigger holes and disconnected ducts get repaired by hand first, and we’ll tell you before doing any extra work. It’s not duct cleaning, and it won’t make an undersized furnace or AC bigger. If the test shows sealing won’t help much, we’ll say so.
All registers in the home included.
Also included: the leakage test before and after, hand-sealing of accessible gaps, Aeroseal sealing and your Seal Certificate. Repairs to disconnected ducts or large gaps are quoted before we do them. See all services and prices →
We still need to get to it. Every register gets blocked off before sealing, so one we can’t reach holds up the whole job. On a recent job in Brampton, a register was hidden under the kitchen cabinets. We took off the cabinet kickplate to reach it, blocked it, and then started sealing. If something has to come off to get to a register, we’ll tell you before we remove it.
Aeroseal fills the ducts with a fine sealant mist under a little pressure. With every register blocked, the only way out is through the leaks, and that’s where the sealant builds up and closes them. An open register would just let the mist out into the room.
Yes. Duct joints and the connections at the registers can leak in a house of any age, and since most ductwork is closed in, you can’t tell by looking. That’s why we measure the leakage before we quote any sealing.
No. Duct cleaning takes dust and debris out. Aeroseal seals the leaks, so more of the air your furnace or AC moves actually reaches your rooms.
Most homes take about 4 hours for sealing, or about 6 with air balancing. A hidden register or a repair we have to do by hand first can add some time. Someone needs to let us in and be around at the start and the end.
